In addition to taking amazing project-based workshops with Shaina and enjoying your exclusive knitter's goodie bags, you'll experience some of the best that Montreal has to offer during our private tours and experiences.
Pack your bags and get ready to have a wonderful time exploring Montreal, making new knitting friends, and having a lot of laughs and fun along the way.
Our Knit-Away Itinerary
Day 1: Wednesday, August 19, 2026
Arrive in Montreal, check into our hotel, and then join Shaina and the other members of our group in the afternoon for a welcome party and knitting workshop. Following our workshop, we’ll take a cooking class and get a taste for some of the foods Montreal has to offer. Finish the day by relaxing and knitting back at our hotel.
Day 2: Thursday, August 20, 2026
After starting our day with a knitting workshop, we’ll enjoy an Old Montreal Walking Tour, followed by some unscheduled exploring and shopping time. In the evening, we'll reconnect for our Pajamas, Pizza and Wine Party with more relaxing knitting time.
Day 3: Friday, August 21, 2026
After our morning knitting workshop, we'll visit the Montreal Museum of Art together. Then, we'll have a Montreal YARN CRAWL, visiting the popular yarn shops that Montreal is known for. In the evening, we’ll have our farewell dinner at the Restaurant Bonaparte.

Knitting Workshops
in Montreal with Shaina
BRIOCHE HAT CLASS
Learn the basics of circular Brioche knitting as we knit a simple brioche hat together. We'll be using a worsted weight yarn, provided by Shaina in your epic goodie bag!
ASK the EXPERT
Bring your confusing WIPS and have Shaina detangle the instructions with you during our knit-away.
MAPLE LEAF LACE
BANDANA COWL or SHAWLETTE
Use simple lace stitches and increasing to create a maple-leaf inspired bandana cowl or shawlette. The fingering weight yarn will be hand dyed by Shaina exclusively for this trip!
