Solstice Shrug
Product Details

The Solstice Shrug is my new favorite sweater! Loosely knit, drapey shrug with minimalist shaping, a self-finishing front border, and a simple lower edge. Worked in Fingering, DK, or a lightweight combination with mohair, this shrug is the perfect layering piece over a sleeveless dress or top.

The Solstice Shrug can be worn year-round. Knit it in a cotton or linen blend for warmer weather or in a wool blend for cooler weather.

Construction Details: The neckline/front border of the shrug is knitted as the front pieces are worked. The shrug is made as follows: Knit the back and the two fronts separately. Seam the shoulders together. Seam the front neck tabs together and then set them into the back neck of the shrug. Pick up stitches along the sides of the shrug and knit the sleeves flat from the body towards the wrist. Seam the sides and sleeves.
