
Nostalgia Tie-Front Wrap
Nostalgia is a vintage-inspired wrap that sits elegantly on the shoulders while being kept in place by ties in the front. Using worsted weight yarn or a combination of lighter weight yarns held together, this is a versatile accessory that you can make for any occasion!
Construction Details:
The body of the wrap is worked in one piece from the lower edge toward the shoulders. Stitches are then picked up on each side of the wrap, decreased, and the ties are made.

Finished Measurements: Body measures approx. 49”/123 cm across the bottom, 33”/83 cm across the top, and 18.5”/46 cm deep. The ties measure approx. 4.5”/11 cm wide and 12”/30 cm long. Sample is shown on Shaina who has a 40”/100 cm bust.
Gauge: 12 sts and 20 rows = 4”/10 cm in Nostalgic Texture Pattern holding the two recommended yarns together, blocked, using larger needle.
27 sts and 23 rows = 4”/10 cm in K1P1 Ribbing holding the two recommended yarns together, blocked, using smaller needle.
Needles: US 10.5 (6.5 mm) 32”/80 cm circular needles knitting needles or size needed for gauge and US 9 (5.5 mm) knitting needles or two sizes smaller than size needed for gauge. Adjust needle size as necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Yarn: 2 skeins of Yarn Snob Yarns “A Luxurious Fingering” (75% Superwash Merino Wool, 15% Silk, 10% Cashmere; 437 yds/100 g skein) in “Porcelain Rose”
and 1 skein of Yarn Snob Yarns “Merino Fluff” (80% Superwash Merino Wool, 20% Nylon; 656 yds/100 g skein) in “Porcelain Rose”
One strand of each yarn will be held together for the entirety of the wrap.
Alternate Yarn:
650 yards each of smooth fingering weight (CYCA #1) yarn and textured/fluffy sport weight (CYCA #2) yarn. These two yarns will be held together for the entirety of the wrap.
or 650 yards of one color of heavy worsted weight (CYCA #4) yarn to be held single strand.
