Product Details

The Flying Solo Shawlette is your next favorite knit!

Experience Level: Advanced Beginner

The Flying Solo Shawlette is a triangular shawlette with a mixture of simple stitch patterns that are repeated throughout. It’s designed to work with a 100 gram skein of your favorite fingering weight yarn. The stitch patterns lend themselves to an array of color families and dye styles; optional beading gives this shawlette some extra sparkle. This pattern is easily adaptable for a larger sized shawl made with additional yardage or a thicker yarn and larger needles.

Construction Details: The shawl is worked in one piece. The pattern starts out at the "small" corner and increases along the shawl's length to the other straight edge. The pattern is a repeat of 60 textural rows that include mesh lace, knit/purl texture, wrap and drops, and optional beading on stockinette stitch.
