The playful Candy Jar Cowl is knit in two or more colors of DK weight yarn. The textural candy-like bubbles are an irresistible (and surprisingly simple) treat to knit!
Construction Details: The Candy Jar Cowl is worked seamlessly in the round from the bottom edge towards the top edge.

Size: One Size
Finished measurements: 24”/60 cm circumference & 12.5”/31 cm depth.
Gauge: 20 sts and 28 rounds = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette Stitch and 18 sts and 32 rounds = 4”/10 cm in Candy Jar Stitch using size needle to obtain gauge.
Needles: US 6 (4 mm) 24”/60 cm circular needle or size needed for gauge. Adjust needle size as necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Yarn: DK weight (CYCA #3) yarn in the following yardage amounts:
Main Color (MC): 250 yards.
Contrast Colors (CC): 250 yards of one CC; or 50 yards each of five CC; or 17 yards per stripe of CC.
The sample was made in Shaina’s 2025 Halloween Yarn Set (85% Superwash Extrafine Merino Wool, 15% Nylon; 246 yards/100 g skein and 49 yards/20 g mini skein). MC: Ghost with a Sweet Tooth, CC1: Cotton Candy Phantom, CC2: Poisoned Apple, CC3: Goblin Grape, CC4: Trick or Tangerine, CC5: Spooky Strawberry.
