If you’re looking for a winter hat that’s amazingly cozy and soft, look no further! I hand knit these hats using both traditional knitting needles and as well as a knitting machine. These hats are made with fingering weight (lightweight) yarn and are a double-thickness when worn. In other words, they’re warm but not stifling.
I call this the “Magic Hat” because it can be worn in three different ways:
1. Leave the hat as-is for a casual slouchy look.
2. Fold up the brim for a fitted skullcap.
3. Pull some fabric out of the interior of the hat and bunch up the exterior for an extra slouchy look.

Size: Adult Small
Finished measurements: 17" circumference and 12" depth
About the yarn used: merino wool and nylon blend in a hand-dyed ombre rainbow. One end of the hat is pink, and the colors morph to reach purple at the other end of the hat
Color: Neon/Bright Rainbow from Hot pink, orange, yellow, lime, aqua, purple. There is a fair amount of speckling of deeper colors and white flecks of yarn, too.
